We sat at a table after many hours of discussion and debated how we could take an increasingly expected and borderline generic scent in the British marketplace and breathe some life into it again.
I felt strongly that there was beauty to be found in looking beneath the surface of the skin. A moment when sunshine has been dazzling the soft waxy leather-like textured outer skin for weeks. Injecting radial warmth into its luscious heart.
We built the inner fig heart with a clever curation of sandalwood, damson, date, patchouli, nectar like fig, cassis and soft leather notes. A very different approach indeed.
Finally people always ask me “why Ultimatum” and I often reply cheekily __ “well, you can continue to choose perfumed copies of something that was once beautiful, or opt for the real thing.” Its somewhat of an ultimatum isn’t it?
